Acceptable Usage Policy
Cleverhosting is committed to offering each user a fair service, this includes their allocated amount of web space, traffic allowance, and server resources.
In the event of a customer using more than their fair amount of server resources, which includes but is not limited to; scripts using large amounts of CPU cycles / occupying heavy amounts of RAM, having excessively large mailboxes due to use as file storage rather than mail storage, and using large amounts of bandwidth illegally for example.
In reference to using large amounts of bandwidth illegally, we mean that we do not condone, nor do we allow use of any of our services to distribute copyrighted content, such as (but not limited to) music, films, tv shows, software, and books. If a customer is using their 'unlimited bandwidth' illegally, then we have the right to investigate, and if found to be in contravention of our T's and C's, terminate your service with us. We will discuss this with you, and give you the opportunity to explain your actions should you not be aware of breaking our T's and C's. If a customer is found to be using large amounts of bandwidth legally, then this is fine, as long as it is not to the detriment of another customer.
