Site maintenance is required in order to ensure the latest security updates and operating system updates are applied. For you, this means that any web sites you have are protected (on the software level) against the latest security threats. Updates to software include Apache, PHP, Perl, and many other web hosting applications that we offer. These updates also include base operating system updates for each of our hosting servers. All updates to software will be thoroughly tested on test servers before being applied to production servers, in order to minimise downtime for you, our valued customers. As a result, downtime (if any) will be minimal, and you can still expect the highest quality of service we strive to offer.
